Then we show how we got the Bible in English and about the characters of Wycliffe and Tyndale. The break down of the books of the Bible is taught using an interactive touch screens. Finally an explanation is given about the work of the Bible societies translating and distributing the Bible all over the world. This zone demonstrates how the Bible has gone from a scroll format to the wide variety of ways we can access the Bible today, on computers, phones and tablets.
In this zone we start at the beginning of creation then to the flood and Noah’s ark followed by a close look at the lives of Abraham, Joseph and Moses. During this we see how theses men and the events in their lives pointed forward to the coming into the world of God’s Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ. Other characters such as Samuel, Samson and Ruth have a touch screen presentation to explain their importance. you will learn more epic stories such as David and Goliath, Daniel in the Lions den and Jonah and the whale. Once again all these stories are explained showing there importance and relevance to the coming into the world of Christ.
In this zone the focus is on the birth, life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and also on how the early Church began. The learn the biblical account of the nativity followed by a selection of the parables and miracles of Christ. You will learn of the circumstances surrounding His death and how it was not a mere miscarriage of justice, but rather a life laid down as a sacrifice for the sin of the world. There are various exhibits to see, including a replica Roman spear, sword, lash, nails and crown of thorns. For the resurrection there is a fiberglass replica of the tomb, which has a stone that roles away at the touch of a button.
